‘Go with the flow’
After a great yoga class and the rest of the day spent unwinding why not seal your day’s practises with a Chi Kung class as the perfect sundowner.
For an hour and a half in the late afternoon you will have the chance to enhance your yoga practise with the gentle and meditative movements of this ancient art. Chi Kung is said to be similar in style to Tai Chi.
Chi Kung increases your awareness and develops a real ‘felt’ sense of pure vital Chi.
‘Chi’ means energy – and ‘Kung’ means work Chi Kung is the classical Chinese route into improving health, increasing vitality and ‘being’ in the flow of life. In many schools Chi Kung is known as ‘Chinese Yoga’.
Chi Kung really is the sole mate of yoga and the synergy of the two practices leaves you feeling totally complete. You will learn how to clear and
re-energise your internal energy pathways (meridians) by filling them with pure Chi from ‘heaven’ and earth. The Chi Kung at Ibiza Yoga will teach you how to recharge your batteries through powerful, deep rooted methods that are long lasting.
In the summer months Chi Kung is all about balancing the energy of the heart. Once the energy of the heart is in balance, the mind, body and spirit become calm. Joy flows freely in the heart and emotional stability is enhanced.
Also an experienced yoga teacher Helen introduces restorative yoga postures at the end of each class to spark that connection of ‘felt’ Chi/Prana during your yoga practise.
Taking this complimentary course at Ibiza Yoga with the benefits of the natural surroundings including the coolness of the ocean and the warmth of the sun means you will truly bathe your body and soul in the bliss of the moment.

...each one of us is a union of all universal energy. Everything that we need in order to be complete is within us right at this very moment. It is simply a matter of being able to recognize it. This is the tantric approach
